| Sabrina and Danish
In Sabrina and Danish’s Indian culture, a wedding is not just a one-day event. Several days before the union, hundreds of their friends and family gather at a four-star hotel in L.A. to begin the celebration. First up is the "Mehendi," a centuries-old tradition welcoming the bride’s entry to womanhood with food, dancing, music and henna painting.
Over 700 guests will be attending their wedding at a gorgeous ocean-side resort and Ricardo Luna has his work cut out decorating the outdoor ceremony area, as well as the magnificent ballroom where the reception will be held. Thousands of orange roses grace the columns and pillars throughout the property, and crystals and candles are added everywhere to add that special element of “bling.”
Sabrina’s dress has a fifteen-foot train and is encrusted with crystals and pearls. But the most amazing thing the bride will be wearing is her wedding jewelry, which contains 55 carats of diamonds and 20 carats of pearls- all handmade for her by the family’s private jeweler.
Their wedding cake is worthy of a princess as well: it’s designed like a “castle” with three towers, and stands over six feet tall! Decorated with gold frosting and edible crystals, it cost $20,000. |

Amy and David
Amy and David have opted to hold their nuptuals on the grand lawns of a California beach resort. The bride will walk down the aisle in a Reem Acra gown, and later change into a special reception dress, with both gowns totaling $15,000, not including the $200,000 worth of diamonds she'll also be wearing! Making up the decor of the ceremony and reception will be hundreds of pink roses, specialty lighting and an overall crystal theme, including custom linens designed to look like pink frosting with crystals, a six-tier red velvet cake covered in crystals and crystals hung from an alter-rotunda for a prism effect during sunset. Guests will be treated to music from both a DJ and a live singer and at the end of the night, take home a bottle of Dom Perignon as their wedding favor.
